About PrEP Programme
- PrEP is being made available through the King Online platform and a few private pharmacies in Gauteng as a pilot project for a limited time. We aim to evaluate the feasibility of using these platforms to expand PrEP coverage in South Africa.
- PrEP is free when using these platforms.
- PrEP initiation will be supported by HIV self-testing, virtual consultation with a doctor, a nurse visit to your home and courier delivery of PrEP from a pharmacy
- To access PrEP at a pharmacy, please visit any of the pharmacies listed below and speak to the pharmacist or pharmacy nurse
