- RUSH Endurance Bars were designed for endurance athletes who need to top up on natural energy. while repairing muscles and then extending their fuel while taming inevitable hunger pangs.
Their low GI carbohydrate content provides extended fuel for muscles, their protein helps with muscle repair, their fat/fibre tames hunger pangs whilst their consistency makes them easy to chew and digest
In addition to this, the bars are raw and ‘free-from’ all the bad stuff ensuring they retain their nutritional integrity. The bars contain maca root which was used by ancient Incan warriors for strength and stamina together with chia seeds which are hailed in the book ‘Born to Run’ as the food of choice if stranded on a desert island, as they aid muscle building, lower cholesterol, reduce the risk of heart disease, stabilise blood sugar levels and are an effective fluid and electrolyte stabiliser. Camu camu provides the vitamin C boost to maintain healthy immune, and nervous system, whilst also providing anti-inflammatory benefits, and quinoa which is regarded as a complete protein, works with the protein-forming amino acids in spirulina to build red blood cells and repair damaged muscles.
Directions for use
For best results, RUSH Endurance Bars should be eaten 1-2 hours before exercise along with water to prevent hunger and supply energy to working muscles. They can also be used to complement your liquid fueling regimen for extended exercise periods (1 bar per hour of exercise).
