- This richly flavored syrup contains 100% concentrate of pure dates with no additives or preservatives and is an excellent natural sweetener.
- Can be used as a direct replacement for maple syrup, golden syrup, barley malt extract, or honey. When replacing sugar with date syrup there is more trial and error required. As a starting point try 1 cup of date syrup = 1 cup sugar although you will have to reduce the amount of liquid in the recipe slightly.
- Perfect for use in cakes, bakes, or tagines or drizzle over pancakes or vegetables to create a sweet glaze. Alternatively, mix in equal proportions with our Tahini to make a delicious spread.
