We are what we eat

We are what we eat

dec-blog

We are what we eat and live in a world of greed. It is all about faster, fatter, quicker, cheaper. Food is mass produced with little to no nutritional value. Most households survive on carbohydrate laden foods as they are far cheaper than the healthier alternatives. Everything is processed for mass consumption and convenience. Packaged good are laden with toxic additives and preservatives.

Do we think about what we put in our mouths? Do we realise the impact it is having on our bodies and our health? Do we know the truth about what we are eating? These are all very important questions we should be asking ourselves.

Consumers need to take their power back. We need to demand nutritionally dense foods which will promote a happier and healthier life.

Organic foods that grown in nutrient-rich soil without pesticides – say no to genetically modified; alternative dairy sources - say no to hormone injected milk; less processed carbohydrates and sugar – keep it natural. These are all building blocks to better food (that tastes amazing), which, in turn, leads to better health.
